Some travel companies try to sell you a holiday, others try and just sell you a flight or a hotel. Few however will try and sell you an experience. Those that do have rarely succeeded quite as well as Abercrombie & Kent. The luxury travel company has produced an email that’s full of content designed to excite and delight readers. The copy is beautifully written and inspires readers to take a safari to a destination they may not have previously considered, or an experience from a ‘best kept secret’ destination and given readers key dates to see some of the most beautiful wildlife over the next few months.
What’s also interesting is the use of content that they know their customers will be interested in, not content that is about or by them. They’ve given some relevant and timely reminders about upcoming wildlife documentaries. There is of course a competition and last minute deals to explore too, but there’s something softer and friendlier about how Abercrombie & Kent approach it.
