Footasylum – Caught you looking, Diana 👀
Sending abandoned basket emails can be an efficient way to drive purchases with customers who’ve already shown an interest, and Footasylum know this! It’s not the first time they use reminders to tempt customers back to buy what I’ve previously browsed. They’re quite persuasive…
The personalised and playful subject line felt familiar, encouraging readers to open the email. Plus, the sense of urgency used within the copy “Come back and get them before they’re gone”, the collage of images showcasing the previously viewed product from different angles, and the multiple delivery options illustrated through icons – all of which combined encourage readers to press the big green button and “complete your order”.
One more clever thing that really stood out in this email was the assumption that a reader could have already ordered the product, but fear not! There’s a rather reassuring guarantee that the assumed order will already be on its way – a great demonstration of good customer service!
